Hey all,
My Dad wants me to sell my brand new dodge charger srt8 because the insurance agency is asking for an extra 00 dollars. I have never had a speeding ticket and my record is spotless. But they’re still charging that much extra. I live in an area where the teenagers get into a lot of car accidents when they have sports cars. could this be a reason? Also I’m 17 if that could help you in any way.

I got NYC Driver’s lisence but my car is register under someone else’s name in New Jersey. If i get a ticket speeding ticket I know it will affect my record but my question is, will it also affect the insurance of the guy the car is register under? if so how much?

when someone gets a speeding ticket it affects the cost of their insurance. how many years does this affect the cost?
do all forms of tickets, traffic, moving and parking violations raise the cost of liability car insurance? and how long for?

Would it be possible to go to another insurance company and put his car under my name and he can be one of those additional drivers? That way we can save money?
