I was in an accident where I was not at fault. My car was totaled and the insurance company said that they would pay the bank loan balance for the car, but refuses to reimburse me the down payment which is 00. Is that common?
i’m planning to buy a car next year.
it will cost around 11000 and i’m planning to downpay 5000.

and my dad wants to pay that 6000 with his credit card so he can put the car under liability instead of full coverage.

If you are not at fault in an accident, what will your insurance company do in order to get your car fixed? How much help will they give you, or are we supposed to settle everything, make the calls etc. with the other carriers insurance. I was hit from behind while I was stopped at a yield sign. The other drivers fault ( a no-brainer). Yet I am getting different information from my agent, the other drivers agent, and even the auto-repair shop !!! Any feedback will help greatly.
It should be against the law since everyone must carry car insurance. Also, what does my low credit score got to with my great driving record? Sounds like another reason to raise rates because most credit scores are low across the board. If someone pays their insurance company on time and has a good driving record should be their only concerns. Doesn’t that make sense to raise car insurance rates to persons that had a hard time paying a bill, bit made all their car insurance payments on time. If there are others out there mad about this issue please help me do something about this robbing…
I attend school in a different state from my parents and would like to register my car in the state my school is in. My parents are willing to pay for my car insurance until I get out of college. About 1.5 yrs back my wife scratched another car while parking. The claim was settled using insurance. The expense was about 00. Ever since that the insurance company, AAA, has been increasing our premiums by abt on every renewal. Now I cannot switch or shop with other insurance company since they give quotes much higher than this company. But apart from this one incident we do not have anything else on our record. Also I get discount for Home+Auto insurance. The company increased prices on our Home Insurance too. I am badly stuck with this company now. I would like to buy Auto+home from one company itself. But I really cannot move my Auto Insurance. Please give suggestions.
