My fiance pays more than his car payment for his insurance monthly because he got a speeding ticket 2 years ago. It’s a complete waste of money and they won’t lower his total until the ticket is 3 years old.

Would it be possible to go to another insurance company and put his car under my name and he can be one of those additional drivers? That way we can save money?
this is the whole story. one ticket, the insurance company is state farm.

I drive a 95 camaro and have never been in an accident or gotten a ticket so what should I expect to pay? I have been thinking of “loaning” my car (which I own) to my 87 year old father. I would then lease a vehicle for myself. Then at the end of the lease period (let’s say 3 years) if he is no longer driving, the car returns to me. Can he purchase auto insurance on himself and the car or does it fall upon me and my policy? My father has an excellent driving record and so do I.
