As above, i claimed on my existing car insurance policy about 2 years a go now. When getting new quotes they ask if i’ve had any claims in the past 3 years (which i have). But just wondering how would my new insurance company know either way if i put ‘no claims’. Surely if they were all on one database they wouldnt be asking me in the first place?! Would they check for any reason? And what would happen if i was found out? Thanks.

Im paying around 500 every 4 months for car insurance now. In July I will have been driving for 3 years now and am hoping to see it drop. I drive a 95 camaro and have never been in an accident or gotten a ticket so what should I expect to pay? Who would be the best company to go with in my situation and does anyone have any tips to cut the costs?

Elie asked: My fiance pays more than his car payment for his insurance monthly because he got a speeding ticket 2 years ago. It’s a complete waste of money and they won’t lower his total until the ticket is 3 years old.
Would it be possible to go to another insurance company and put his car under my name and he can be one of those additional drivers? That way we can save money?
this is the whole story. one ticket, the insurance company is state farm.

Irv S asked:
I have been thinking of “loaning” my car (which I own) to my 87 year old father. I would then lease a vehicle for myself. Then at the end of the lease period (let’s say 3 years) if he is no longer driving, the car returns to me. Can he purchase auto insurance on himself and the car or does it fall upon me and my policy? My father has an excellent driving record and so do I.
