Unfortunately, there are no “discount” car insurance companies. Yes, some companies’ rates are better than others but you also have to look at their customer service. A company with dirt cheap rates that doesn’t pay when you have an accident is not worth having. Here is an article with more details:

I’m not sure if this company writes in Georgia… but try looking for Farmers insurance. Another name for them is Truck Insurance Exchange.
I just wrote a policy for a guy today in Farmers who had a DWI from this summer and also had a suspended license and had a restricted license because of that. His quote was only $400/6 months for a liability only vehicle. That was in NY, so prices may vary where you are.
Try Farmers!! It beat Progressive out of the water. (The Progressive quote had been like $700/6 months).

Hey roxie, you need to find a site that compares providers and quotes according to your info. and location. It doesnt take long and you can compare quotes very easily. You can save money in no time.
It workd for me.
car-insurance.22web.net – try this one. I personally have their car insurance, cause it is the cheapest for my family in our area.
Their policy for bad driving record is not such expensive as from other companies.

I live in Georgia and I have 2 speeding tickets and 1 at fault accident. I have a 2007 Mustang GT and I only pay $65 a month for full coverage.
I use a company in Texas my dad found for me. Everyone else was over $150 a month.
