What car insurance would be the most affordable for a 1996 ford mustang?

I just bought a 96′ mustang and it has scissor doors. I am about to get my liscense so i am 16 and i want to know what car insurance company would be the most affordable for a basic coverage.

I shop car insurance now and again just to make sure my rates are good.
Typically I found these companies to be the least expensive:
Progressive, Geico, 21st century, All State, among others
They will rate you on many factors: Car type/style, Age, Driving record, zip code of residence, and more. Some companies have different weights to above. For instance, one company may ding you more for being young while the other may ding you more for your zip code. It’s all in their rules and what’s important to them
You need to call or email them all. If you email you can have a ‘stock’ email you send to them and compare rates.
As a young man, your rates will be a bit high but you can get them lower over time by not having tickets, DUI’s, and enrolling in college (when you can).
Tell them you only drive to/from school and work and very little pleasure riding and under a total of 10K miles per year and tell them you want "state required minimus only with the highest possible deductable", this will keep your rates at their lowest. BUT, if you get in accident or need them, that deductable must be paid first so just keep the speed down, pay attention and be respectful on the road!
