People are force to pay for car insurance but been force to pay for health insurance is a problem?

You get fine for not having car insurance, car will get impounded, n you can go to jail for it also. Where is the logic here?

This is not about health care! This is about Obama keeping his promise to FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA and that is the problem. It is nothing about his wanting more for AMERICA but LESS for the people and more for GOVERNMENT!
He could care less about heatlh care because he has not honored any long standing rules or laws or moral conduct let alone the constitution. This health care is just the catalyst for his progressive agenda to FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE AMERICA!

Cap and trade ( the whole west part of the U.S is now under federal government and not state government…bozo just got another 100 MILLION acres of land under federal government to PROTECT IT……cannot do anything with it)….and now has Russians and Brazil doing offshore drilling on AMERICAN shores when AMERICA cannot)..this is federally controlled. Why can’t AMERICA have those jobs and independence…why OTHER COUNTRIES??? EVERYTHING Is going to be federally controlled.
You have the Nationalization of banks, chasing big business out of the country.. Without working on jobs HE is deciding when AMERICA will work on jobs and give you the opportunity to stand up on your own two feet and provide for yourself. With unemoployment this high..why isn’t he working on JOBS?
Deficit spending is valuable only if you get something more valuable in return for that spending. Otherwise, stimulus spending is just a ticket on the Argentina Express.
During the New Deal, we deficit-spent and in return, we got bridges, roads, dams, and entire power systems. And unemployment fell. Today, we are getting the promise of such systems, but not the results–the money is not being spent on tangible things, nothing is being built. Why?
Ask Japan. Financial markets have to be fixed from top to bottom with new "rules of the game" firmly in place before economic activity will be underpinned and stimulus will work. Again, ask Japan.

We have lost our voice and cannot speak up any longer because all laws and rules are broken and they don’t have to listen to AMERICANS when they have spoken more loudly since the birth of this nation. They have ignored the majority of AMERICA VOICES rising up in unison to LISTEN…and get REFORM..not national health care.
Their selfishness to want more entitlement and having their lives and your grandchildren’s lives and futures have been turned over to to progressives that care NOTHING for them or you …but just their MONEY!

The legacy that the democrats of the past that were for the small people is gone..and most democrats that are true democrats are horrified and ashamed that their party is changed this way. There is so much fighting in washington among the democrats it isn’t funny…but it is sadder that they didn’t have the backbone to stand up to that fighting and for the people they are supposed to represent.

No one is FORCED to buy or drive a car. People without cars do not have car insurance. Another liberal lie.
If you chose to drive you must pay auto insurance.
If you chose to live you must pay health insurance.
Dude, you can decide to not drive a car. And besides, auto insurance is a state law, not a federal one. If you can’t understand the implications of that, I’m not willing to explain it to you.

In response to Toni Z, The great health insurance I currently have will go away when health care is standardized. The benefits I received for my work effort will be taken away from me by the government and given to those that choice not to have insurance or choice to not work. I don’t agree with having to pay for the current funds that are being diverted currently, but at least it is not taking the high quality of care I currently receive. As fewer individual make the money to sustain the revenue to support this monstrosity, less health care will be available for the public as future budget cuts will force rationing the available resources.
This only applies to people who drive to ensure that they can pay for any damages and injuries that they cause while driving. Regulations regarding auto insurance are different in every state. It’s not a federal issue.
Driving is a Privilege not a right… Life is a right… do people that don’t drive need car insurance?
My hubby & me were JUST talking about ‘this’ last night. If Republicans get their way and the courts find that forcing citizens to purchase Health Insurance is “un-Constitutional” – it will open a Pandora’s Box with Auto Insurance in many states. Take Michigan’s “No-Fault Auto Insurance” for instance… Michigan attempted to end frivolous lawsuits by forcing its citizens to purchase “No-Fault Auto Insurance”. I’m thinkin’ ‘that law’ will go down in flames IF Republicans get their way on the Healthcare Bill.

even taking your idiotic analogy, it’s a liability issue with cars. you are liable for your own health and not my concern. well now it is my concern for all those that will get medicaid with the likes of you while the rest of us who are healthy will have high taxes and premiums that are now forced to pay for you goberment dependent selves.
The logic here is that you don’t have to buy car insurance, but they are forcing you to buy health insurance. How flipping stupid do you have to be not to understand that simple concept? You have to, as opposed to you don’t have to … good gawd man
A) I am also against mandatory auto insurance, so there is no inconsistancy there.
B) No one is forced to buy auto insurance. You can choose not to drive.
C) The idea of mandatory auto insurance is so you are insured if you cause an accident. Although, I don’t understand how this even applies when most states’ mandatory auto insurance is also "no-fault" insurance.
D) I can move to another state. But when the federal government intrudes on our rights, there is no where else to go. America is the last beacon of hope for liberty.
I have a CHOICE whether I want to own a car or not, when I choose to own a car, I accept the things that go along with it…Maintenance, gasoline, INSURANCE

There is a lot more here in this bill than forcing people to comply with new federal infringement on liberty, read the bill. Where is the logic in forcing people to buy a bureaucrat approved plan or go to jail? Who is going to pay for all of this? There aren’t enough "rich" people in the whole world.
My state does not mandate car insurance. My car insurance is used to pay for claims, and a small profit for the insurer, who employs people.
National Socialized Health Destruction will use the premiums to kill insurance jobs, and replace them with 109 agencies of government bureacrats (and 16,000 new IRS agents) who will bleed the system dry, just like Medicare and Social Security.
This is because all the premiums will go into the general Federal budget, and we know how liberals like to spend money.
For those who say owning a car is a choice, don’t forget seeking health care is an option as well. You are perfectly free to let your injuries or maladies kill you off. On the contrary, if what you are saying is that health care is NOT a choice but that instead everyone is entitled to it, well then you actually support the concept behind health care reform.
Republicans think cars are more valuable than a human beings
1. There is no federal law that you must buy car insurance. It is required by states. It’s a state issue.
2. The only car insurance people are required to have is insurance for paying for damage they do to OTHERS’ property and health, not their own car or health. No one is required to insure their own car or health with care insurance.
3. You have the choice not to drive. You don’t really have a choice to live.

Probably the dumbest of analogies since driving a car is not a right, but being born in this country is a right, for which government can not force you to buy something to maintain that right. Your logic sounds tainted by liberalism and MSNBC thinking points.

You have the option not to buy a car and should realize that purchasing a vehicle comes with several costs such as maintenance, gas, registration, etc.. Millions of people get along just fine with bikes or public transportation. You should consider a car a luxury item, but like cell phones people tend to forget it is just that.
What I also find perplexing is that the majority of people who are offended by health care reform already have insurance, and already are indirectly subsidizing the uninsured. Their opposition makes no sense.
Simple, I don’t have a car so I don’t have car insurance. There’s a clear difference.
A car isn’t a necessity, and people only have to pay to drive with car insurance, however this bill makes people pay to LIVE. It’s not right.

if you don’t have car insurance, and a cop never pulls you over for any reason, then you don’t have to pay a fine, etc… only if you are caught will that happen, in which case you took that chance
if a person come to an emergency room, under Obama care, and if they don’t have a private insurance carrier, then they will be required to find one, and pay for their own emergency room visit
(since when did Republicans lose sight of personal responsibility?)
