Is there cheaper car insurance for driving only part time?

Is there any car insurance that would cover only part-time drivers at a discount? For example, weekend driving only, or commute to and from work only, or Mondays and Wednesdays only?

no. As your record stays clean from traffic tickets, accidents, etc. your insurance will get cheaper. Good driver discounts.

I believe Norwich Union do a pay as you drive policy that might do the same thing – it involves having a sensor/tracker on your car.
You can specify not using for commuting but specifying not for domestic and leisure use is not really possible.
Limiting to a low mileage per year is possible

For auto insurance the quick way to get a good quote is do a rate comparison on auto policies. Make sure that you compare similar policies with the same deductibles, car model, location, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.

What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at since they have top name insurers and can give several quotes on car insurance polices.

    Hello

If you go on line you should find some that offer a cheaper policy for a restricted mileage per year.

When getting quotes simply input a very low number of miles.
See it’s free to get prices
