I just got this car last week, and it’s used and the dealer financed me, but i had to go get full coverage on it before i drove it off the lot. It was late in the day and i was panicked , so i hit the 1st office i could find, and that’s going to be about $150 a month for full coverage (!!) Do i have to wait for a period before shopping a new insurance co. ? If so , how long?

You can change your insurance at any point in time. This company may change you a penalty fee, but most do not, once you cancel your policy they will refund your money for the months and days you have left in your policy.
The best way to find the best insurance price is to get an online quote that will compare all companies in your area and find you the lowest price.

No, you don’t. But if you cancel your policy before it expires, there is usually a short rate penalty, and sometimes a cancellation fee.
$150 a month for full coverage isn’t bad! But you won’t know that, until you shop around.
