Progressive, GEIKO, and more don’t serve MA. WHY? I can’t find anyone who serves MA. Which car insurance is the cheapest and how do I get it. Thanks.

Look into Commerce Insurance Co.
Oh, and cheap insurance and MA do not go together. It’s all very high.
Some companies do not offer service in some states. Why? A business decision of the company, and usually not a matter of public record.
How do you get insurance in MA? Walk into the office of an independent agent and tell him what coverage you need, he will ask a few questions and look through his data base of available companies and present you with possibilities. Choose the one that best meets your needs.
Liberty Mutual
John Hancock
Prudential
All headquartered in MA. Many others as well – just pick up any Yellow Pages and look under “Insurance”.
MA is a rate-regulated state. Rates are set by the State Insurance Commission so the basic rates won’t differ regardless of what company you choose.
However, if you go with a mutual insurance company you MAY get a rebate at the end of each policy year depending upon how well the insurance company did that year. Mutual insurance companies are owned by the policy holders and the state can’t stop the distribution of profits among the company’s owners.
