In the US yes you can. There should be no problem. You can even get your own policy online with Progressive. I wouldn’t suggest it if you do not know much about insurance. The best thing to do is to call an independent agent for a quote. They can advise you on what coverage you should have, they will offer you a few options and you can make an informed decision for the coverage that is best for your situation what you can afford. It will be expensive!
