ok so we have state farm. I will be driving in a couple of months. I want to get my dad as primary on my car so I can pay less, but he is already primary on another car, just like my mom is. So is there a car insurance company that will allow my dad to be a primary on more than one car? Because you are not allowed to do that with State Farm. Thanks!

nope….a person can only be the primary driver for one car at a time
Not that I know of. But having two teens and doing a lot of work regarding getting the best rate for insurance, I found that our company Royal wouldn’t even insure young drivers, and I found Belair Direct to have the best rates by far for young drivers. You will have to be principal driver on your car, but you may find that the rates will be more reasonable. Good luck
You can try “Shielder Shelter Insurance”
If you have to be placed as the primary driver; put down that you will only drive 1000 miles a year or (30 minutes a day) (just to and from school) and it may be cheaper.
Doing it this way is consider fraud, but they aren’t going to check how many miles you drive. Also, if you have good grades (All A’s and B’s) then you get the student discount.
Also, the more cars a family or person has insured through a company the cheaper the rates.
All State is suppose to be cheap insurance, but remember, you get what you pay for. I have heard negative comments about All State. When you get in your first accident, and if it is your fault, if All State doesn’t pay what the owner of the vehicle that you hit wants, then they will sue you and try to get a judgement against you or your parents.
Be careful and drive very, very safely. Automobiles are too expensive to junk out and if having to buy another automobile doesn’t diminish your money roll, then a lawsuit will.
Yes, there are companies that will put your dad as primary driver & you as a part time driver. Since State Farm won’t do it you may want to try getting a quote online. I am paying less than ½ of what I was before I did.

When our family reached the point we needed three cars we got another insurance company and another policy on the third.
