Can you get temporary car insurance for say a month?

There is nothing like temporary insurance, its just normal insurance. Just get insurance and call the insurance company anytime to get it cancelled and pay for just the days when your car was insured. This applies to any change of policy also.

Yes, you can get temporary insurance. If you’ve already had insurance, you usually can get it, and then pay for it in a few weeks. My company, State Farm, allows me to call up, put a car on an established policy ( KEY here, is established ). If you are a new policy holder, this may not apply. You may need to pay up front for it from the insurance company. No free rides, dear!
i thinks so, here in UK you can get 3 month insurance
Do you plan to park it and never drive it again at the end of the month? If not, why do you need insurance for a month? Insure it for the full term, usually 6 months. If you sell the vehicle or whatever, cancel the insurance for a refund.
