Are there any car insurance companies that ignore credit reports?

It depends on your state. I live in WA and I believe that all companies order the score. Sometimes even with the bad score the rate isn’t so bad if you have a good driving record.I would try them all just to see. You have a bad score already, what do you have to lose? Good luck.
Insurance will only do a credit check if you are applying to pay by instalments, if you are paying in one go it does not matter what credit rating you have.
If you live in CA or MA, credit score isn’t used.
If you want a company like Leader Infinity to skip the credit score, they assume you have the lowest credit score, and you get the highest rates.
In other words, skipping the score is NEVER going to give you a better rate than a score – as you’ll always get assigned the worst rate. So it’s kinda pointless.
There is a company based in Texas and California that underwrites 47 states.
They do not run a credit report. I like there saying “What does credit have to do with driving? Nothing!”

It varies from state to state. In California it is illegal for an insurance company to run credit.
I know of only one company that does not run a credit report nationwide. They do not even ask for your ss#.
It depends on where you live and the companies all have different criteria for determining your rates. The best thing to do is just shop around and find a company that fits in your budget with the coverage you need.
