I need to know is it possible for my parents to put the car im driving on their insurance, but not have me listed as the driver, because if they do their insurance can go up extremely since i’m under 25.

I want to own my own car now though, and I want to know what the cheapest cars would be for car insurance. I live in Norfolk, VA, United States, if that helps. I know a lot goes into calculating car insurance, not asking about that. Just want to know if you pay a really small amount for coverage, what that amount is and where you get it from. (Must cover cars in the U.S, though companies can be anywhere).

Does that depend on the company, and how much or how little can the premiums increase or does that also depend you your car insurance company.

I have 8 points now unfortunately, pending on 10 who knows, and in my state of NJ that’s okay just as long as it doesn’t hit 12, then you’re suspended for a while.

Anyways, I’m worried about how this might affect my car insurance next cycle. I’m with GEICO currently and have been with them for several several years.
