I was once told by one of my professors that the law allows you to not pay car insurance as long as you have a certain amount of money on reserve for paying the cost of the accident (if the judge found you to be the cause.) Is this true or the law have changed?

If it’s true, it would sound logical to test the stats to see the probability of you getting into an accident and the time you can avoid paying insurance.

Any thoughts?

Just got my license this year, getting my Car next year(because of USAF BMT and Tech School Training)-I’ll be 19 by then

I’m getting a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Financed, worth 28k(mods and addons)

I want to lift it,3″ and put 35″s on it (more lickely to flip over?)

So far the only thing i can think of that would lower my future bill is Getting an Alarm for the Jeep(coming in with it)

What are other things?

P.S.
I don’t want to hear..”Why a Jeep? get this car____”, if i wanted for that information i would have asked for it. Thanks.

Also, “Why a Unlimited? Thats not a real jeep.. Thats a Comment, Not an Answer and to Each his own.
