Brandi asked: I’m 16 and I recently started driving. I own my own car but I do not have insurance. My parents do not have insurance and my mom siad that for me to be covered she would have to get insurance on all the drivers in the house on all the vehicles. She said I could pay it I’d like but that it would be about $300 a month.
Is it possible for me to get MY OWN coverage and not have to pay for the rest of the family.

Foamy is God asked: I am shopping for homeowner’s and Auto insurance. Progressive is the cheapest, and I like the fact that they cover pets that are riding in your car too. I am looking at them as well as Ameriprise, and Amica. Allstate and Nationwide seemed high, State Farm and Gieco will not give me Earthquake coverage which is a must. Thank you.

My older brother recently bought a brand new car, and just two days ago the insurance he purchased from the dealership’s insurance company expired. He has liability insurance underneath a separate insurance company, but that has not expired. We were stopped for something minor the other day, and the police officer noticed my brother’s insurance was expired. What kind of fine will he face?

I have already contacted The Dept. Of Commerce & Insurance about the situation, but still no justice! The wreck was not my fault and they know that, yet they still will not cover the full balance of my D**M Car! I’ve been with them for 8yrs!

I received a notice saying that my auto insurance rates may be different based off of my credit starting in August. That’s when I renew. They hadn’t been doing it like this, so why are they doing it now? I pay my insurance on time every month, so why slap me with a major price increase because my credit score *****? Does anyone know the stupid reasoning behind insurance companies adjusting prices based on creditworthiness for current and future customers?

I got a traffic ticket, want to remove it. I heard some where that online traffic school course offers auto insurance discount along with traffic ticket dismissal. Can any one suggest me the source where I can get information on this?

I am having to phone AllState again and again after I was in a car wreck, as they said they would pay for the car damage but they keep trying to avoid paying. I am getting so stressed by the phone calls – and I was injured so the whole thing is a real pain in the neck (feeble attempt at joke…). How can I reduce the stress (don’t say massage or yoga please!!!!!). Should I get an attorney? Or is there some way to be firm but polite on the phone while I ask for what is rightfully due (from what I have heard about car insurance after a wreck). Any clues how to deal with the evil insurance adjuster on the end of the phone? This is really upsetting me, and it was bad enough being in the wreck.
